The Powerball jackpot has swelled to an eye-popping $425 million.
After rolling over 12 times since June 22, Wednesday's jackpot is the third largest Powerball jackpot in history.
The chances of winning are 1 in 175 million.
Those odds are not stopping hopeful millionaires from buying a ticket or stopping them from imagining what they would do if they won the jackpot.
"I would give it away to my grand-kids and my family, simple as that,” said Fred Laurie, Marquette Heights resident. “People that work for a living, I'd help them out.”
"I'll give a lot to charity. I don't need that much money. I live a simple life,” said Shirley Hart, East Peoria resident. ”As long as my family is taken care of and whoever needs it, then I'm fine."
The winning numbers will be drawn Wednesday at 9:59 p.m..
