PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill -- The Village of Peoria Heights will officially kick off the holiday season Saturday with its annual Christmas Chamber Walk.
Festivities start at 10:00 am and include shopping specials, music from the Main Street Quartet, and of course, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at Heights Flowers.
The walk will also include horse drawn carriage rides.
"They will meet here at Heights Flowers as well as up at Tower Park so you can park and ride, park your car at one end of town or the other and ride back and forth in a carriage," said Chamber President Elect Cindy Neal.
Around 5:15, residents can enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies as the Peoria Heights Congregation Church leads the Christmas Sing, and then the tree lighting ceremony.
