PEORIA, Ill -- Nationwide, citizens are casting their vote, not for the next president but for a vacation.

Allegiant Air is traveling the country, asking people to 'Vote for Vacation.'

The campaign tour bus made a stop Tuesday at the Peoria Metro Centre.

Voters are picking are their favorite destination, in hopes of winning free flights on Allegiant for the next four years.

The Peoria International Airport also has a chance to win big in this election.

"We get to take six people to Las Vegas and meet with their highest corporate officers in a face to face meeting, which is rare for Allegiant. And that would be where we get to sit down with their corporate officers and make our case for where we think the next destination ought to be," said Director of Airports Gene Olson.

The campaign continues through next week, voters can cast an absentee ballot online at www.vote4vacation.com.
