Peoria Police Look for Shooting Suspect

Peoria police are asking for the public's helping in finding a man wanted for questioning in a weekend shooting.

Police say 28 year old Keith Long is wanted in the shooting of Terry Nichols. Police say long should be considered armed and dangerous.

Officers say Nichols was shot multiple times Sunday afternoon at a residence located at 125 N. Village Green Court in Peoria. The shooting happened around 4:30 on December 5th.

Nichols was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery and according to police is expected to recover.

Anyone with knowledge of the shooting or the whereabouts of Keith Long is asked to contact Peoria police at 673-4521 or Crime Stoppers at 673-9000.
