PEORIA, Ill -- Peoria Police are investigating a home invasion at 1700 N. Missouri Avenue that happened around 2:00 a.m. December 26.
According to a police report, two men were asleep when one of them heard a noise from another room.
Before the man could get out of bed to go into the other room, a black male suspect put a handgun to his head demanding money.
The suspect took a wallet off a nightstand and fled on foot.
No serious injuries were reported.
