PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are searching for two armed robbery suspects.
Police said a 42-year-old Peoria man answered the door at his North Broadway home Friday morning to a man and woman on his front porch.
Authorities said the male suspect was holding a gun and attempted to push the victim inside.
Police said they began to fight, but the victim broke free and ran to a neighbor's house, who then called the police.
Upon returning to his home, the victim discovered two cell phones had been taken.
The suspects were last seen heading southeast on Broadway.
