Peoria Ranks on Forbes' Best Places for Business List

According to Forbes, Peoria is a great place to start a business and career.

Forbes listed Peoria, IL on its annual "Best Places for Business List".

Ranking at 71, Peoria comes in before Orlando, Philadelphia, and even Chicago.  The central Illinois city jumped up fifteen places from last year's spot at 86.

The list is formulated based on cost of business, job growth, and education in municipalities across the United States. 

Topping the 2011 Forbes' business list were Raleigh, NC at number one, Des Moines, IA at number two, and Provo, UT at number three.
