PEORIA, Ill -- The Peoria Riverfront Museum announced Thursday the first two large-format movies that will play in the new Giant Screen Theater.

Rescue and Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure will start playing in the theater on October 22. Tickets can be purchased at the museum or online.

Rescue is about a group of real rescue technicians who save lives during natural disasters. Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure is about the marine reptiles who lived in the oceans during the age of dinosaurs.

Both movies will play at various times throughout the day. Show times can be found at www.PeoriaRiverfrontMuseum.org or on Fandango. GST Theater tickets are priced at: adult, child, senior, military, and student. Peoria residents receive a 15 percent discount on the ticket price as a thank you for their support of the tax referendum.
