PEORIA, Ill. -- The Peoria Riverfront Museum opened its latest addition, the Object Theatre, over the weekend.
The theatre features an 11 minute show displaying the history of innovations in Peoria from the first settlement to the 20th century.
Various objects are lit up throughout the narration of the movie, giving the film a more engaging feel.
"It is a show, like a movie, but there's more going on because of the lights hitting the objects, so the objects are really the actors of the show," said Peoria Riverfront Museum Curator Elizabeth Bloodworth.
The Object Theatre is the newest exhibit inside the "Street Gallery."
