PEORIA, Ill -- Police are investigating the armed robbery of The Mix, 2123 N. Knoxville Avenue, that occurred on Saturday night.
Officers spoke to the victim, who said that he had seen the suspect in the building a couple of times, each time looking for his cell phone. The victim came into the business again at 9:00 pm, again looking for his phone.
The victim said that the suspect went into the bathroom and when he emerged he was wielding a handgun. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene.
Authorities are still investigating this robbery.
