PEORIA, Ill. -- The Fine Art Fair is celebrating its 51st year in Peoria.

The event showcases artwork from 150 artists across the the United States.

Organizers say more than 40,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair at the Peoria Riverfront this year.

The event is expected to attract not only people from across Illinois, but the entire country as well.

"It just keeps getting bigger and better every year," said Event Coordinator Brynn Kanikula. "People love it, and it brings us together. We have a great group of people who help us. They sponsor, volunteer, and the whole nine yards. We are very grateful to have everybody come down here."

Admission is $5 to the fair.

It is open again on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm at the Gateway Building on the Riverfront.
