Peoria man arrested by Normal police in connection to residential burglaries

NORMAL, Ill. -- Normal police officers have arrested a Peoria man in connection to two residential burglaries.

On Wednesday at around noon, Normal Police received a call saying that a subject was attempting to force entry into a home in the 1800 block of Setter Drive.

Officers responded and apprehended the man attempting to leave the area in a vehicle. The suspect has been identifed as Anthony C. Robinson, 39, of Peoria.

With assistance from Detectives, Robinson was linked to at least one other Attempted Burglary of a home in the 1800 block of Partridge.

Robinson was arrested and is currently being held on a $5,000 bond at the McLean County Jail on two counts of Residential Burglary and one count of Possession of Burglary Tools.
