Peoria man arrested for allegedly slashing 39 tires Saturday

PEORIA, Ill -- Police have arrested a Peoria man in connection to a rash of tire slashings that occurred Saturday morning.

Police say that 39 tires were slashed in the neighborhood extending to the area of Atlantic, Republic and the 1200 block of Norwood early on Saturday.

Authorities say that the investigation led them to Ian Reynolds, 21, of Peoria. Reynolds is being charged with 13 counts of Criminal Damage to Property over $500 and 26 counts of Criminal Damage to Property under $500.
