PEORIA, Ill -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place late Saturday night on the 1800 block of W. Howett.
The 23-year-old victim told police that he was walking home from a friend's house at approximately 11:00 pm when he encountered three males.
The victim said they started to fight him and took an unlisted item off of him. The victim said that one of the suspects was armed with a broken glass bottle, which cut him during the fight. After a struggle, the suspects left.
The victim drove himself to the hospital so that cuts on his hand from the bottle could be treated. Police have no suspect information at this time.
