MINOCQUA, Wis.-- A Peoria man who was critically injured earlier this week in a car accident in Wisconsin has died.
The Minocqua Police Department reports 21-year-old Timothy Needham passed away Saturday morning due to injuries he suffered in the accident.
Needham had been in critical condition since the crash, which occurred on Monday in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Published reports indicate the accident, which was between an SUV, driven by 21-year-old John "Jake" Pearl, and a flatbed truck, happened at a blind turn.
The driver of the truck died at the scene.
Pearl, also of Peoria, was treated at a nearby hospital and released.
Police say no witnesses were present at the time and the accident remains under investigation.

Needham was a Peoria Notre Dame High School graduate.
According to Wright and Salmon Mortuary, a Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012, at St. Philomena Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Philomena Church.
Additional visitation will be one hour before the Mass on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Philomena Parish or Peoria Notre Dame High School.
