PEORIA, Ill -- Police say a Peoria man was robbed Saturday night on the 4100 block of W. Partridge Way by three suspects.
The 25-year-old victim told authorities that he was walking in the area at around 8:30 p.m. when he was approached by three males. One of the males asked him for a lighter and the victim told the suspect that he doesn't smoke.
The victim said that the males followed him a while before tackling him, kicking and striking him and taking his wallet and cell phone.
There is no description available of the males other than the victim saying that all three were black.
Police are still investigating the robbery.
