PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria man was sentenced to 12 years in prison after he plead guilty to a 2013 home invasion.

Paul Cox agreed to testify against co-defendant Ketorious Brady in exchange for having charges of residential burglary and robbery dropped.

The prosecution says that at about 12 a.m. on December 13, three men broke into an apartment at 3415 W. Oakcrest Drive, demanded money and knocked the victim out of her wheelchair.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of change from the victim and fled the scene. Cox and Brady were arrested near the scene. A third man was arrested by police, but later released.
