Peoria native named Illinois Air National Guard Chief of Staff

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Colonel Clayton W. Moushon of East Peoria has been appointed as the Illinois Air National Guard’s Chief of Staff.

Col. Moushon served more than 25 years in the Air National Guard and was the Air National Guard Assistant to the Staff Judge Advocate, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Moushon is currently a civilian practitioner in East Peoria, where he is a transactional attorney specializing in corporate, commercial real estate and development transactions.

Moushon was born in Peoria and received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1986. He is a member of the Illinois Bar Association. He is married to Yvonne Joy Yoder. They have four children, Nikolaus, Chelsey, Jacob and Mitchell.
