PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria police officer who resigned after pleading guilty to Attempted Obstruction of Justice was sentenced to 24 months probation on Friday.

Sergeant Richard Glover was charged in connection with a drunk-driving crash of fellow officer John Couve in July of 2012.

Glover can still receive his pension and apply for another job as a police officer since this is only a misdemeanor offense.
