Peoria police ask for help in finding robbery suspect (With Photos)

PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are asking for help in locating a suspect that they believe is connected to a string of armed robberies at Peoria businesses.

The suspect has been described as a black male in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 to 180 pounds.

The suspect has been connected to robberies at Tony’s Market, 2621 NE Adams St., on August 21; Airtec Cellular, 841 W. Main St., on December 5; Johnson Mini mart, 907 W. Johnson St., on December 20 and December 30; and Casey’s General Store, 6203 N. Big Hollow Road on January 6.
