Peoria store sells winning lottery ticket

PEORIA, Ill. -- The Illinois Lottery announced Wednesday that Peoria store sold a grand-prize ticket for a Lucky Day Lotto midday drawing today, making someone in the area $50,000 richer.

The winner, who has yet to come forward, purchased their winning ticket at Jumers Amoco Food Shop, 211 North Western Avenue, and matched all five numbers – 06 - 16 - 17 - 26 - 30 – in the July 24 midday drawing.

The store will receive a bonus of $500, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling a winning ticket.
