PEORIA, Ill. -- A 17-year-old Peoria man has been found guilty of burglary but not guilty of murder.

Zachery Cotter, 17, was one of three people arrested for the murder and robbery of James Cohee, 68, of Lake Camelot.

Cotter was not accused of actually shooting Cohee in April of last year, but of participating in the planning of the crime.

His felony burglary conviction, however, could put him in prison for years.

Both Devon Moore, 19, and Amanda Payne, the victim’s mistress, face similar charges.

Payne is accused of shooting Cohee in the robbery gone wrong.
