PEORIA, Ill. -- Police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting that left one woman shot in the hand.

Police responded to the intersection of Humboldt and Livingston on a report of a shooting at approximately 4:25 p.m. The victim, 29 year-old Jodi Talley, was found with a gunshot wound to the hand.

The victim told police that she was walking northbound on Livingston. She said a male on the porch of 1507 S. Livingston told her to come over. When she refused, the suspect allegedly shot her in the hand.
