PEORIA, Ill. -- 'Tis the season to spread holiday joy. Sixty of Peoria's youth are touring the area doing just that.

Tuesday, the Elite Holiday Choir kicked off their annual tour with a performance at the Peoria Riverplex.

The group consists of students from all walks of life, unified in songs of praise.

"We're gonna give some hope. We're gonna tell kids, 'you don't just have to dribble a basketball, a throw a football, or hurl a baseball'," said Carl Cannon, ELITE founder. "You can use the gift of your voice and that might be, or you can use your toes to bring the gift of hope to our community."

You can share in Elite's message of hope this Saturday.

The Holiday Choir is a hosting a free concert at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Paul's Baptist Church.
