Pizza delivery man shot, stray bullet injures man in his home

PEORIA, Ill. -- Police say a Peoria man was injured in his home from a stray bullet from a shooting that left another man injured.

Officers responded to the 300 block of E. Archer on report of a shooting. The 56-year-old victim was grazed by a bullet and suffered a minor injury to his forehead. He was not taken to the hospital for his injuries.

Police believe that the home on Archer were struck by bullets fired at a pizza delivery man on the 2400 block of N. Missouri, which is approximately 80 yards away. The 33-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officers recovered 14 shell casings from the scene. There is no suspect information other than the victim saying he was shot at by two to three black males.
