PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are also investigating three burglaries in downtown Peoria.

Police confirm the Rhythm Kitchen, the Peoria Art Guild and another business were burglarized Tuesday night.

Rhythm Kitchen owner Shelley Lenzini said while she and her staff are taking more precautions, they still feel safe doing business down on the riverfront.

"We all walk out together, we all stay together. Fifteen years and nothing like this has happened, but we are always aware of the people around us. It can happen anywhere," Lenzini said.

Police said they do have some leads and do not believe these burglaries were committed by the Pekin couple arrested for a string of burglaries in Tazewell County.
