PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are investigating a home invasion that occurred on the 1000 block of NE Perry Avenue on Sunday night.
Officers spoke to the victims who said that they had just returned to their residence when they heard a knock on the door.
The victims said that it was a subject inquiring about getting tattoos done. When one of the victims went to open the door, another suspect came into the home armed with a long barreled weapon.
The suspects forced the two victims to the floor, taking a watch from one of the victims and some money from the other. They then fled the scene.
The victims described the first suspect as standing between 5'09 and 5'11 and weighing 190 pounds. The suspect was wearing all black clothing. The second suspect was also described as being between 5'09 to 5'11 and weighing between 175 and 190 pounds. This suspect was also wearing all black and was also wearing a red and black face mask.
Police are still investigating this incident.
