PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Fresh Gear, 2503 N. Sheridan Road on Tuesday afternoon.
A 29-year-old employee said that the suspect entered the business and started shopping for various items at around 2:00 pm.
The suspect brought the items up to the counter, pulled a gun on the clerk and told him he was leaving. The suspect took the items and walked out of the business.
The suspect took a pair of shoes, a hat and a pair of pants.
There are no known suspects at this time. However, the clerk says that the suspect has shopped at the store frequently.
