PEORIA, Ill -- Police are investigating the circumstances of a home invasion that occurred Saturday night at around 8:40 pm on the 200 block of Wayne St.
Police spoke to one of the victims who said she heard a knock on the door while watching television. She said that when she answered it, two men came into the home, including one with a gun.
According to the victim, they asked where her husband was. She was going to take them to his room when she heard one of them ask if they should shoot him. She told police she attempted to knock the weapon out of his hand and they fled out the back door.
Police have no suspects in the incident.
