PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria Police Officer John McCavitt plead not guilty to charges of unauthorized videotaping and possession of child pornography Thursday.

McCavitt was arrested by police on the unauthorized videotaping charges back in April and is currently free on a $100,000 bond.

Since that arrest, another Grand Jury indicted him on charges of possession of child pornography.

McCavitt will be back in court on June 20th for a scheduling conference.

A trial is set for June 30th.
