Police search for KFC armed robber

PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria Police are looking for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Authorities say a male approached the KFC on Glen around 10:15 Saturday night, after business hours, banged on the window, and showed employees a gun he was holding.

Police say that's when an employee let him in, and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe before fleeing the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The male suspect was wearing a white mask, black gloves, and a dark hoodie.

He is described as being between 5'10" and 6'1", weighing 170 to 180 pounds.
