LaSalle County, Ill. -- The Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police say a search for a missing Peru woman will resume on Tuesday.
According to the office, Nancy Greening of Peru has been reported missing since Friday. Officials say the woman apparently drove around the road closed barricades on Route 351 and her vehicle got caught in the swift flood waters on the roadway.
Sunday morning, Conservation officials and water rescue dive teams searched the area. On Monday, they brought in an air boat to break up debris in the flooded Illinois River and also brought in sonar.
The DNR says crews from Ottawa, Oglesby, Utica and Peru are assisting in the search.
