PAW PAW, Ill. -- Illinois State Police are looking for a male suspect connected with the murder of a woman at an I-39 rest stop.

According to State Police, surveillance video shows 44-year-old Tonya D. Bargman of Monticello, Illinois being attacked Tuesday night shortly after leaving the rest room of the Willow Creek Rest stop on I-39 southbound, at the 84 mile marker.

State police have identified Terence Doddy, 36, of Rockford as a person of interest in the investigation.

Doddy is currently wanted by the Rockford Police Department for a murder that occurred June 30 in Rockford. Doddy was observed leaving the scene in the victim’s vehicle, a gray 2013 Nissan Altima, bearing Illinois license plates BARGMN 2.

The lower rear bumper has a silver-colored “Illini Nissan” decal.

Doddy is already wanted by Rockford police in connection with a June 30 murder.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact 911 or the ISP Zone 2 office at 815 632-4010.

Illinois State Police released more photos Thursday to help the public find Doddy, who had recently purchased a blue dome-style camping tent in Rockford.
