Portable generators recalled for fire hazard

NATIONWIDE -- American Honda Motor Co. is recalling more than 150,000 gasoline-powered portable generators.

The company says the fuel hose can leak, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Honda is aware of four incidents of fuel leaks.  However, no fire or injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the generators and contact the nearest Honda Power Equipment dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair, or call American Honda at 888-888-3139.
