CREVE COEUR, Ill. -- Governor Pat Quinn announced a capital investment of more than $177,000 for a construction project in Creve Coeur on Wednesday.

Work will be completed on Highland Avenue from Thorncrest Avenue to Scenic Park Road, and on Groveland Avenue from Allyn Street to Eleanor Avenue in the Village of Creve Coeur. This involves new sidewalk, crosswalks, accessibility ramps, and new signs.

“This work will complete a project that is improving transportation in Creve Coeur,” Governor Quinn said. “The project will also employ a number of construction workers, which will help the local economy.”

This project is part of Governor Quinn’s $31 billion Illinois Jobs Now! program.
