JOLIET, Ill. -- Illinois Governor Pat Quinn was booed by prison workers and others in Joliet Friday.
The governor was there for a groundbreaking ceremony for a new transportation center, but on hand were family members and people who work at the Dwight Correctional Center.
The governor wants to close that facility as part of his budget cutting plan .
Closing Dwight and other prisons is now tied up in the courts.
AFSCME, the state worker's union, indicated the "Pat Quinn Truth Squads" would continue to follow the Governor's public appearances.
