NORMAL, Ill. -- Recycling is taking off in the Heart of Illinois.
Midwest Fiber Recycling, the area's largest full-service recycler, will soon be expanding its Normal facility to accommodate more reusable goods.
The company plans to double the size of its material collection floor with a new $8 million facility.
Twenty-seven new jobs are also slated to be added.
The new facility should be completed by October.
