URBANA, Ill. -- Months after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the east coast, relief efforts continue.
Red Cross volunteer, Eileen Borgia of Urbana, is being deployed to New York to assist on the continuing Hurricane Sandy disaster relief operation.
Borgia will work in Mass Care Feeding as an emergency response vehicle (ERV) driver. Red Cross ERVs deliver food, clean-up kits, personal hygiene items and other essentials to disaster victims.
