What's in the future for Peoria congressman Aaron Schock?
Crain's Chicago Business columnist Greg Hinz says maybe Governor of Illinois.
In an on-line column Tuesday, Hinz reports that a top GOP funder told him Schock recently came right out and asked if he ought to run for Governor.
Hinz quotes "other party sources" as saying "they've heard definite buzz that Mr. Schock, while far from any final decision, has begun to test the gubernatorial waters".
But Schock's Chief of Staff said continual reports of the Congressman running for another office "never ceases to amaze Shock because the scenarios are always news to him".
