CHILLICOTHE, Ill. -- A Chillicothe man is still waiting to find out if his name will make the primary ballot this coming March.

Mark Zalcman is looking to run against Republican incumbent Dave Leitch in the race for 73rd District State Representative.

Last week, two local Republicans challenged Zalcman's petition to run in the primary, saying more than 100 of his 570 signatures needed are invalid.

A hearing was set for Tuesday.

If Zalcman is determined to be ineligible, he can file for a judicial review or wait until the 2016 elections.
