Resident knocks out home invaders

EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- Two men allegedly broke into an East Peoria home and end up getting knocked out.

According to the Pekin Daily Times, Steven Thomas, 51, and Timothy Koch, 44, allegedly broke into Roy Blackburn's East Peoria home in the early morning hours of December 4.

The pair started punching Blackburn, who was sleeping on a couch.

Blackburn's son ran downstairs, and reportedly punched both men, knocking them out.

The pair face home invasion charges.
