In it's 17th year, Peoria's Ride for the Cure is only becoming more popular.

Over the years, the numbers have grown and the ride routes have varied. This year's Ride for the Cure will be Saturday, May 18th, 2013. Line-up will begin at 9 a.m. at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie and the ride starts at noon. All participants will be required to sign an insurance waiver.

Registration pamphlets were mailed in early March, if you did not receive one you can visit Walter Brothers Harley-Davidson. You can pick up ride materials May 14 through 17 from 9 a.m. To 6 p.m.

Jacki Wiebler sat down with Ashley McNamee to talk about changes to this year's ride, include an after party at Peoria's Expo Gardens. There will also be a silent and live auction featuring a doll donated by Dolls with Hart, several pieces from Ken's Custom Paint and Graphics, a bowling package from Plaza Lanes, a wine cooler from Shermans and a glass fusion bowl from Jodi at Created Just by Me.
