PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. -- A one-vehicle accident sent two people to the hospital Saturday afternoon. It is unknown at this point if the wet, slippery roads were a factor in the accident.
Peoria County Sheriff's deputies say a vehicle went off the road in the 4500 block of McCormick shortly after 2:15 and rolled over.
Authorities say the Farmington fire department had to extricate two people who were trapped inside the vehicle. Their names were not available and we do not know the extent of their injuries.
They were taken to a hospital and the accident is under investigation.
