CHICAGO, Ill. -- If Dan Rutherford is elected Governor, he says his Lt. Governor will have a major role in the state's economy.

In Chicago on Thursday, Rutherford introduced Steve Kim, his chosen running mate.

Rutherford, currently the Illinois Treasurer, says he would create an Office of Job Creation, which would be headed by Kim.

Rutherford call this a one-stop shop for business.

"Leadership is what's necessary. We need to take the time from being leadership to say, ok it's important that these businesses come into Illinois and I believe that's the role of the Lt. Gov," said Steve Kim, (R) Candidate for Lt. Gov.

Kim says International companies have 50 states to chose from, and Illinois current financial situation makes luring them a challenge.
