San Francisco man arrested in Galesburg for drug possession, trafficking

GALESBURG, Ill. -- Galesburg Police have arrested a 28-year-old man from San Francisco for drug possession and trafficking.

Robert B. Murray was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (Over 5000 grams) and Cannabis Trafficking (Over 5000 grams) Wednesday during a drug patrol at the Galesburg Amtrak station just before noon.

A search warrant on the luggage in Murray's possession yielded 11 bundles of cannabis weighing approximately 12 pounds (5432 grams).

Murray is being held at the Knox County Law Enforcement Center and has yet to appear in court.
