Independent gubernatorial candidate Scott Lee Cohen campaigned in Central Illlinois today.
One of the places he stopped was the Linden Hill Diary Farm in Peoria to talk with owner Fred Rosenbohm.
Cohen says he wants to learn more about agriculture and other issues like job creation that are impacting Illinois residents.

"We need to invest in our children. We need to educate them not just scholastically but with tech skills so that they'll be able to get jobs," he said.

Cohen also visited the Peoria County Farm Bureau as part of his state tour.
He won the lieutenant governor's nomination earlier this year but withdrew after allegations of domestic violence, forcible sex, and steroid
abuse surfaced..
