PEKIN, Ill. -- As many of us get together with family and friends this Easter weekend, a Pekin family searches for a loved one.

An 80 year old alzheimers resident is missing Friday night from the Grand Victorian assisted living facility on 14th St. in Pekin.

James L Diegel is described as being six foot tall, with a thin build, thinning gray hair and blue eyes.

Police believe he may be wearing a blue and black long sleeve plaid shirt and blue jeans.

He was reported missing about four this afternoon.

He may possibly be driving a silver 2005 Dodge van displaying Illinois license number of RADA71, which was taken from the Grand Victorian assisted living facility.

Police are encouraging the public to call the police if James Diegel is spotted.
