PEORIA, Ill.-- Peoria police are continuing their investigation into the city's latest homicide, this as a second man is charged in the fatal shooting.

Authorities say earlier this week, 23 year-old Jonathon Sargent was arrested and charged with murder. No word on when he is due in court.

Police are not confirming what role, they believe, Sargent played in the shooting death of 23 year-old Dwight McCall, Junior.

Also charged in that shooting-- 27 year-old Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson was arrested at the scene late last Friday night on the 1800 block of West Butler.

Police say no murder weapon has been recovered.

Ferguson remains in Peoria County jail, held on $100,000 bond.
