Services set for state Trooper who died in the line of duty

ILLINOIS -- Funeral arrangements have been made for a state trooper that died in the line of duty earlier this week.

28 year old Trooper James Sauter died when a semi-truck hit his parked squad car and both vehicles burst into flames late Thursday night.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 1st at Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th Street in Palos Heights from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, April 2nd, at that same church starting at 11:00 a.m.

Trooper Sauter is survived by his wife and family.
