Some severe storms rolled though central Illinois Thursday morning and over the noon hour.

There were reports of trees down and several lightning strikes causing damage to property.

Residents in Trivoli and Peoria reported hail about the size of a quarter. This hail storm was recorded by WEEK/WHOI reporter and weather anchor Mark Bullion in the campustown area on University Street in Peoria. The photo was supplied by multi media journalist Audrey Williams who was in Trivoli.

Stay tune to WEEK/WHOI this afternoon as more storms move through the area.
